Putting out an entire album independently, without any major record lables name attached to it, was the biggest achievement for us. It was a proud moment for us and we cherish it till date, says Sharukh.
On their brand of music: Last Ride Home started off as a punk rock band and later changed its genre to post-hardcore/ alternative metal. The group has no restrictions when it comes to music and is open to experimenting. Their debut album has seven tracks and each number is distinctively different from the other.

They follow both Indian and international bands and their list of influences include Skyharbor, Goddess Gagged, Scribe, The Contortionist, Tesseract, Animals as Leaders, Haken, Karnivool, Hiatus Kayote, Breaking Benjamin, A Day To Remember, Chon, Plini, I Built The Sky, Sithu Aye, Snarky Puppy and Gru among others.
On their way forward: We are currently composing music which will be distinctly different from our older post-hardcore/alternative metal pieces and head to a more mature progressive/ambient space instead, says Dev.
